The “Marcello La Greca” School of Higher Education was established on 28 February 2004, thanks to the contribution made by Mrs. Caterina Meduri – La Greca, to honour the memory of Academician Marcello La Greca, one of the greatest exponents of 20th century Italian naturalistic zoology. The School promotes the organisation and management of higher education events in order to boost knowledge of insect biodiversity in the unitary harmony of nature, supporting participation by deserving students.
